An intense experience, this training made me feel confident and ready to turn practise into teaching. We explored realms of philosophy, Ayurvedic medicine and cleansing that will stay with me as I further my trainings in these subjects. On every level this was a most amazing time of my life.

Teaching Experience: I have been teaching yoga at the Brighton University sports hall since October 2005 and at Wendy Whatling School of dance since April 2006. I've also been giving private classes during this time. Prior to this I had taken classes for travellers whilst staying at a Bush Camp in Australia.

Teaching yoga has always been something which seems natural to me and is greatly enjoyable. I feel very motivated to pass on yoga, having found it to be something extremely powerful in improving mine and other's quality of life.

Personal Yoga Practise: I have been practising yoga and attending lessons in various disciplines for about 10 years now (pretty sporadically at first!). I was first introduced to yoga, as a child, by my mother when I would happily join her practising her asanas. Although at a young age, certain poses like Lion pose did make me and my friends run away!

I now have a strong personal practise, which I am building on all the time. I continue to keep my experience broad by attending classes of different disciplines.

Ayurvedic Massage seemed a natural progression for me, having always had a strong interest in Ayurveda, I yearned to learn more, combining this with Yoga gives a powerful massage technique allowing deep release of tensions, emotions and memories which can otherwise remain caught in the muscles for years.
